Partnership with FIDM Chairing Styles
We are pleased to announce our continued partnership with The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Again this year we collaborated with the Chairing Styles program working with teams of three students to create a dramatic presentation of different textiles, garments, and chairs.
As a contributing manufacturer Michael Taylor Designs worked to produce student Alan Burton's sleek Belle DuBois chair.
Chairing Styles is in its tenth year and the "Frolic in the Garden" collection has been on display at the Pacific Design Center. Past collections have been displayed at other Southern California locations including the Long Beach Museum of Art, Bloomingdale’s Home Store in Newport Beach, and Neo Con Xpress in Los Angeles.
